Warranty Policy

JIVI Mobiles warrants that the mobile phones and accessories purchased in India, through JIVI mobile’s authorized distributors will be free from all defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the following periods from the date of original purchase, subject to the Warranty Terms and Conditions as set out below:

The warranty period starts at the time of product's original purchase by the first end-user .The product may consist of several different parts and different parts may be covered by a different warranty periods (hereinafter referred to as "Warranty Periods").
The different Warranty Periods are:

  • The limited warranty for the product (except battery packs) extends for the first twelve (12) months beginning from the date of purchase of the handset.
  • The limited warranty for genuine and original Battery , Charger/ USB adopter /USB cable extends for the first Six (06) months beginning from the date of purchase of the handset.
  • The limited warranty for genuine and original Hands free extends for the first Three (03) months beginning from the date of purchase of the handset.
  • The limited warranty extends only to the original consumer of the product and is not assignable or transferable to any other person.

Introducing 111 Days Replacement

111 Days Replacement Policy” has been introduced where in case of functional failures, customer will get replacement, within first 111 days from date of activation/Purchase Bill. This policy is effective from 15th April 2017 i.e on all handsets which are activated or Purchased on or after 15th Apr 2017).

    Terms and Conditions

  • This policy is strictly for feature/bar phone and handsets sold in india./>
  • Swap Unit (handset only) will be provided for feature phone only.
  • Defect to be reported at ASC within first 111 days from date of Activation /Purchase Bill (Handset activated/Purchased on or after 15st Apr 2017).
  • Only hardware related issues as per warranty terms will be considered for replacement/swap.
  • Handset issues which can be resolved by software upgrade or by accessories replacement will not be eligible under this policy.
  • Swap unit issued to customer will be sole discretion of Jivi Mobiles & will be as good as earlier.
  • Handset which comes under DOA policy will be closed as per DOA terms & conditions.
  • Handset should not be liquid logged, physically damaged or tempered of any kind.
  • The warranty period remains unchanged, even though after replacement/swap.
  • Beyond 111 days, the standard repair warranty terms will be applicable.
  • Purchase bill should have valid TIN no. with IMEI no. for customer to get warranty.
  • Company has the right to reject any handset if found against this policy.
  • MIPL (Jivi Mobiles) reserves the right to modify or withdraw the policy at any point without any prior intimation, any objections/claims from third party shall not be entertained in this regard.

Screen Breakage Policy (Jivi Mobiles)

Screen Breakage Policy” introduced under which customer will be given free screen replacement on all Jivi Models, for one time only within first 111 days from date of activation/Purchase Bill. This policy is effective from 15th April 2017 i.e on all handsets which are activated or Purchased on or after 15th Apr 2017).

    Terms and Conditions

  • This policy is strictly for feature/bar phone and handsets sold in india.
  • Screen replacement in case of Feature/Bar phone is termed as LCD replacement only.
  • Offer can be availed only one time within first 111 days from date of activation/Purchase Bill (Handset activated/Purchased on or after 15th Apr 2017).
  • Customer has to pay service charges of Rs. 99 + taxes (If any) to ASC in order to avail this offer.
  • Breakage other than the LCD will not be entertained under this policy & such repairs will only be performed after customer consent, on chargeable basis.
  • Handset should not be liquid logged or hold tempering of any kind.
  • Purchase bill should have valid TIN no. with IMEI no. for customer to avail warranty.
  • In case warranty proof is not produced by customer, the services will be provided on chargeable basis only.
  • Company has the right to reject any handset if found against this policy.
  • MIPL (Jivi Mobiles) reserves the right to modify or withdraw the policy at any point without any prior intimation, any objections/claims from third party shall not be entertained in this regard.
  • All disputes are subject to Delhi Jurisdiction.
